Academic Biography
TEACHING
I believe that a diverse cultivation of the life of the mind is an integral resource for effective advocacy, democracy, conflict resolution, social reproduction, and flourishing, and the continuance of this communal possibility guides my commitment to teaching philosophy in higher education.

Because I am invested in the possibilities of higher education and the practice of philosophy for the generation of a well lived life, I have a keen interest in making academia more accessible through respect, open-mindedness, equanimity, creativity, and excellence.

RESEARCH
I specialize in Social Political Philosophy, with a focus in Feminist Philosophy, Philosophy of Race, Existential Phenomenology, Decolonial Thought, Frankfurt School Critical Theory, and Environmental Philosophy. I research feminist cartographies of sense constitution and representation in technoscience in an increasingly mechanized and commodified world.
